This subject comes from "the project tackling of key scientific and technical problems of Tianjin" which named "the Research of the Encapsulation Technology of SOT semiconductor", "Tianjin Municipal Scientific and Technological Commission" has qualified and confirmed the project. The technology of the research is initiate and being leading competence at our country. Among them, the electromagnetic vibratory bowl feeder has been applied for two national patents.Feeding materials with Electromagnetically vibratory bowl feeder (EVBF) is the most common way in the automatic feeding and orientation in the process of producing in the field of semiconductor manufacture. Its cost probably accounts for 30%~40% of the manufacturing cost of the equipment. Comparing with other feeding systems, vibratory bowl feeder has a lot of advantages such as its simple structure, less energy consumption. It is reliable and steady; Friction between the parts is small, so it is difficult to damage the supplied material; the flexibility is good, and it is convenient to change the variety, the speed of the feeding is fast and easy to control. In the course of feeding, we can use the method of "Wiper Blade", "Narrowed Track" or laying particular stress on to put the parts in order orientation. It can be operated under the environment of high temperature, low temperature or vacuum too.Presently, there are several manufacturers produce EVBF used in the encapsulation of the semiconductor, the majority survey and plagiarize the similar foreign products, or totally design according to experience. There is no any introduction about the design of EVBF entirely. This paper tries to get the calculation method of the kinematics parameters and the dynamic parameters through analyzing the operation principle of the EVBF deeply, studying the calculation and design method of the leaf spring and electromagnet, analyzing the parts behavior in the plate, studying the orientation of the part, and designing the orient mechanism direct the SOT123 component. According to the plan of the subject, we design the scheme which can realize the polarity discrimination through assembling a color sensor and dividing mechanism in the straight line feeder.
