Microscopic image analysis is widely utilized in many important fields such as material detection, cytology and histology, oil and geology research. We can acquire microscopic images by photographic apparatus which conert an optical image of microscope to a digital image for computer, but the field of view of camera is smaller than that of microscopes In order to obtain the panorama of the whole specimen, acquisition of a big image is needed. For this reason, image mosaics technique is of great values in research and applications. This paper discusses the image mosaicing method. Because of unevenness of the surface of specimen or certain thickness of the burnished slice, the same view has various focal planes. This paper discusses image fusion technique that integrates partly clear images with different focus points to a whole clear image.In this paper, an automatic and seamless mosaicing method for microscopic image is presented. Firstly, it acquires a template image automatically from one image according to image attribute. Then, Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) is used to extract feature points.
