In the testing of remote sensor, the optimal position of optical focal plane, the measurement of transfer function and image signal-to-noise performance are important to the examination of remote sensor. The traditional way is time-consuming and need great effort. The object of this article is to find an efficient way of locating optical focal plane and the measurement of transfer function.In this paper, PCI local bus, interface design is introduced. The way of design a data acquisition card with high-speed based PCI local bus is discussed first, and the way of high speed acquisition system is presented.The hardware design and software design of acquisition system are discussed. In the hardware design of acquisition system, PCI excusive chip (S5935), CPLD (ispLSI1032E) and buffer memory (72V2113) are adapted to achieve DMA transfer between computer and peripheral with steady-going transmission speed of 50MB/S. With DMA (Windows Driver Model), plug-and-play, power management, Windows diagnose management, interrupt handling, DMA transfers are available in the driver program. In the application program, the analog quantity display of video data and its partly zoom in, the real time obtain of transfer function and the real time display of image signal-to-noise performance are available. Innovation point:Display the analog quantity video data of remote sensor using data acquisition system.Locate the optimal optical focal plane with the video data waveform in transfer function measurement.Real time measure and display of transfer function after the locating of optimal optical focal plane.Data acquisition system plays an important role in the testing of remote sensor.
