With the development of image processing and recognition technique, machine vision system has become an advanced technique. At the meantime, communication technique development give machine vision the feasibility of theory. In order to meet automation requirement of manufacture industry, control system of work field should possess communication function so as to realize automatic control of production line. The thesis is one sub-item of machine vision system, is aimed to study the application of image processing and recognition technique in vision system, and to fit curvilinear equation. Then , computer communicate with DSP controller through COM communications and DSP control two stepping motors to realize cross motion and longitudinal motion. For this, the paper mainly includes two aspects as follows:The first aspect is the design of image processing and recognition. Image processing and recognition software is designed through the study and analysis of image processing theory and algorithm. Then we would be based on this software and according to specific requirement of the item to get the inclusion of the experiments.The second aspect is the study and application of fitting method after introducing curve fitting method, we will study least-squares procedure used frequently in engineering fields. In addition, we will encode according to item requirement and least-squares procedure algorithm, then using the data picked from image processing to fit the equation we needed.Experiments specify that we can get the accurate edge trace and the equations fitted from the collecting data through edge sharpening and detection of image processing technique. |
