Design And Implementation On Management Of Digital Trunking System

With the development of private mobile communication system, the research and design of digital trunking system has been placed on the agenda. Network management is always an important component of wireless communication system, needing the support of new technology for adapting to new requirement. As an important part of network management, user management performs all kinds of management work related to user. According to the special situation of our country, this paper researched and designed the user management of digital trunking system.The design basis was the analysis of TETRA protocols, especially the air interface related protocols, because the standards of digital trunking system in our country had adopted the air interface protocol of TETRA protocol stack, but not decided other parts, which could be decided by the practical conditions. After analysis, the information about user management was extracted and the layered structure model of TETRA areas was established. With this model the network construction scheme of network management subsystem was decided. The layered structure was composed of two components: substratum and cascade subsystem. Then the physical network of the experimental system was built up by Internet/Intranet technology, and the network operation system was installed with the current technologies and conditions (Microsoft SQL Server 2000).An important content of this paper was the design of database. After analysis of database system, relative database was chosen as database type to build the distributed database system. The most important part of database design was logic design, which was done by ERA model, and satisfied the requirement of the 3rd Normal Form. Then the other designs were completed in Microsoft SQL Server 2000. And then the transfer and synchronization scheme of user data was designed by using the replication function, and was configured well in "central subscriber" mode.The main work of this paper was the maintenance of user management data.
