Correlation detection is based on statistics characteristic of signal and noise. It is becoming an important measurement technique in many engineering fields. In recent years, with the development of integrated circuit and computer technology, correlation detection can be achieved more economically. Some practical application of correlation technique gushed continuously. The sound orientation is a problem with straightforward practical background and advanced technology. FFT is an important means in transform between time fields and frequency fields. It is also an efficient method in correlation arithmetic.This design tried to apply correlation diagnosis to sound orientation. We designed one system using high capability price ratio DSP chip of TMS320VC5402 of TI Corporation. It can acquire the sampling data and process the data by means of correlation algorithm.The main work of design are follows: first we designed DSP-VC5402 development system ; then we finished correlation arithmetic software on it and software of FLASH BOOTLOADER program; finally we validated the system by JTAG emulator.After research of the project , we can be well-informed about the...
