The Study And Application Of The Solution To Semi-Structured Data Based On Math ML In Examination System

It's difficult to deal with semi-structured data like Mathematics formulas in the teaching information systems. The result is that the function of application systems which is based on teaching is limitatived.The existing methods to solve this problem are problematic.For example,users can not edit the formuls straight.This paper is based on the Math ML language which is commended by W3C.It changes HTML into Math ML by using ASCII code,and puts forward a whole solution to semi-structured data based on Math ML by combining Math Player and DHTML,etc.It resolves the problem that how to create,edit,display and save semi-structured data like Math ML on the internet.And it develops a Mathematics formula editor.The editor is based on IE and HTML.Its primary function is focused on client end,so that it can run independently without web server.Finally,we develop the Examination System by using three-tier structure,database technoloty,software engineering and ASP.NET,which embeds the Mathematics formula editor.At last,the paper points out the characters and the shortage of the system.
