Automatic Guided Vehicle is a kind of no manipulation material carry equipment ,which is one of the most important conveyance in automatic enterprise.With the rapid development of global economy, the modern production idea is increasing taken by the enterprises,and this also has provided an opportunity for the development of Automatic Guided Vehicle industry.This paper is for the purpose of designing a kind of low-cost Automatic Guided Vehicle system,which suits chinese small and medium-sized enterprises demands.The system is mainly composed of three parts, namely the hardware part, the mechanical part and the software part.The mechanical part mainly constitutes the bodywork and the driving mechanism of the Automatic Guided Vehicle system.The hardware part is a circuit board designed around the host MCU- MC68HC908MR32 and contains hardware circuits of each function module in Automatic Guided Vehicle system.The software part is mainly to each function module programming,and download to MCU by special programmer. This paper first exposed the research background and the design thought of Automatic Guided Vehicle system,then the design conceive and realization method of hardware,software and mechanical design,and in-depth analysis on technological main point, finally integrate each function module to realize the function of automatically guiding and avoiding barrier.
