Study Of WebGIS Implementation Technique And Application Based On Java And GML

When "digital city" has been the important projection and development direction of IT ages, utilizing GIS to implement the management of spatial database and service of spatial information is an important part of digital city construction. Web GIS (Web geographic information system) is the key technology to implement this service, and the effective way to realize socialization for GIS. But the integration and interoperation of different sources and format data have been the hot issue and technique problem. GML (geography markup language) based on OGC is the effective approach to solve this problem. This thesis analyzes the current status of technique and application, the system architecture of Web GIS and GML parser. It includes the following parts:1. Firstly by analyzing the development trend and application of Web GIS, the key problem to implement share and interoperation of the spatial data is educed. Based on solving methods, this thesis educes that GML is an effective way.
