The Study Of The Multi-carrier CDMA Network Optimization Technology And Its Application

In recent years, the application and development of the mobile communication technology is growing rapidly. In China, the number of the mobile communication subscribers is more than 400,000,000. There has been the biggest market of the world in China. China Unicom has built the biggest CDMA network of the world. The CDMA network has been operated formally in April 2002, the coverage of CDMA network reaches 31 provinces in the whole country, amount to more than 300 cities, the user up to 21,000,000 in network at present.With the users'gradual increase of China Unicom CDMA network, the single carrier CDMA wireless network can not meet the need for the traffic growth and types of business increase. In most of our country, the CDMA wireless network has been expanded to double-carrier gradually, even more carriers. After the network has been build up and put into operation, because of the increase in user's number, business diversification, and the varying conditions caused by urban construction and so on in the micromave transmission path, the network needs to be optimized constantly, in order to enhance network service quality, to keep the network at its best. We must face to how to optimize data business and the handoff between different carriers.This paper introduces the development and optimization technology of mobile communication firstly, also it introduces the CDMA network and its key technology. It mainly explains CDMA network optimization technology and method. Because of the development of technology and the enhancement of users'demand, the target which is optimized expands from one single carrier network to double-carrier or rather multi-carrier network, from the basic voice business network to the data-voice network.
