CCD(Charge Coupled Devices),as a solid-state TV camera tube, is widely used in many fields for its high nicety, high sensitivity etc. However, just because of its high sensitivity to light, it is easily disturbed or damaged by laser. So, the research on laser induced effect of CCD is of a great significance. This article investigates all kind of laser induced effect on CCD. The main work that has been done are as follows:1. Experimental study on that 1064nm,1319nm CW laser irradiate the visible light linear array CCD respectively. With the data of experiment, the thresholds of laser power density that make the CCD saturation, crosstalk and thermal saturation were calculated. The scattered laser induced phenomenon was analyzed. The fact that the CCD doesn't respond to 1319nm laser was validated.2. Experimental study on that 532nm,1064nm,1319nm 5kHz frequency PW laser irradiate the CCD respectively. With the data of experiment, the thresholds of laser power density that induce CCD saturation, crosstalk and irreparability damage were calculated. The phenomenon that 532nm 5kHz laser can induce part of CCD functional damage but absolutely damage was found.3. Study on the phenomenon that CCD in light channel is damaged when CW laser is kindled. We find that it is a 1319nm laser pulse that damage the CCD. Although 1319nm laser can't make the CCD respond, it is possible that 1319nm laser damage the CCD.4. Superficial discussion on the method of quantificationally evaluating the extent of disturbing of laser to video of CCD, such as area of saturation, chop of gray level, image correlativity.
