Low-power design technology is a new technology developing with the absence of the whole world's energy and the need of the computer technology. And the Satellite-carried Parallel Computer's Low-power design technology is developing with the need of the Satellite-carried Parallel Computer's cooling and reliability.Simple circuit-level low-power design can not satisfy the power constraints of high-performance Satellite-carried Parallel Computer. However, the rapid development of VLSI and software technology provides more design space for architects. It's an important project to reduce power consumptions.In this paper, some popular techniques was put into research, and many characteristics of the Satellite-carried Parallel Computer were considered. At last, the fit technology was applied into the system.1. Base on the characteristics of CPU (they can change the running state), and the system is Parallel Satellite-carried Computer System, so divide them into three states: double run mode,single halt mode,power down mode. The result is very good.2. Base on the system's characteristics (it can run without I/O equipment), decide the time when we should turn on the I/O equipment at the correct time. More power was saved.3. Base on the system is Parallel Satellite-carried Computer System,creatively designed some new technique of Parallel Computer System in the Satellite-carried Computer System. And realized it at last.At last, compared the result of optimizing with the record before optimizing. Get the conclusion.
