Being developed for decades of years, satellite technology is now playing more and more important role in many fields such as communication, weather, military affairs, entertainment, and so on. The whole satellite is controlled by satellite carried center computer, which is in charge of the controlling of attitude and orbit, management of various tasks, management and processing of payloads, etc. As technology developing in fields of information processing and data management on satellite, more and more demands have been raised towards the processing ability of satellite computer. It is indicated by international research and experience that parallel processing is the primary approach to enhancing the processing ability of satellite computer and the main trend of satellite computer technology. Satellite computer works in space, the severe circumstances brings very strict demand to the design and implementation of the computer.When building a satellite carried computer, designers shall not only consider the system architecture but also various problems such as low power consumption , high credibility, fault tolerance and so on. This paper summarizes the characteristics and research the key techniques about reliability of a satellite carried computer and the related works internal and in our country, introduces the basic conception of parallel computer architecture in brief, and then describes the design and implementation of a hardware system of a demonstration computer which has characteristics of satellite computer. After that, analyses the credibility of the demonstration computer. Finally, aim at the shortcomings of the demonstration computer, this article bring out a new architecture solution and compare it with the architecture of demonstration computer in details. This article not only can be used for reference in some sense by the related works in our country, but makes a practical sense for our college's develop in information processing for space fields.
