Research On Visualization Of The Routing Algorithm Simulation Result In Satellite Network

In 21th century, the information globalization and the need of personal mulati-media correspondence make satellite network communication more and more important. The design of routing arithmetic for satellite network is also more and more valuable. Because of characteristics of the satellite network, it is not realistic on time and economy to make use of the true space environment to carry on the physical test. Therefore, by building up the fit satellite network model and making use of network simulator to get the simulation result, it is convenient to show the status of network and evaluate it. That is one of important means to research satellite network.This paper thoroughly researches on visualization of the routing algorithm simulation result in satellite network. Firstly, basic principles of satellite constellation are analyzed. Aiming at characteristics of satellite network and relying on the 3D simulation ability of OpenGL, it realizes the 3D show of satellite network. The technique problems within visualization process are resolved including the means of building 3D objects, the time mechanism, the transformation of obvious point and so on. At the same time, the document of trace born of NS is unique record left by routing arithmetic for satellite network after running and it is also the data source for visualization. But the document of trace can not provide complete information of the satellite network movement enough and it is also inconvenient to be processed by visualization. By studying the satellite network module in NS, this paper puts forward basic methods for above mentioned problems.It is now a little bit hot in network realm that the research on visualization of the routing algorithm simulation result in satellite network and it has very practical meaning. At the same time, it is also a very complicated process needing a great deal of time and experience. For this directional research, it is worthy of our going deep into a ground of study and track continuously.
