Research On Visual Simulation Of Network Household Appliance Using OpenGL

With the development of the computer technology, especially the digital network and integrate circuit technology, the network household appliance has entered the communities and homes, and has been focused on by the electronical manufacturers. In recent years, a lot of electronical manufacturers presented their criterions and kernel technologys of the network household appliance. The development of the network household appliance relies on the criterion. Since the criterions were based on the hardware products, the incompatibility of different criterions has posed an obstacle to popularize the technology of the network household appliance. Therefore, a research platform that is independent of hardware products and compatible with different criterions will be propitious to the development and popularization of the network household appliance.A simulation research platform for network household appliance was designed in this paper. It can realize the visual dynamic simulation of network household, and simulate the network criterion of electronical manufacturer, also can design the fitting and layout of network household appliance and test the capability of household appliance. The research contents include:(1) The architecture and kernel technology of network household appliance. Research in the kernel technology of network household appliance: embedded OS; hardware interface standard; network protocol.(2) The principle of OpenGL and 3D graphics displaying techenology. Research on solid modelling, display listing, texture mapping, Chinese font displaying, solid selecting and feedbacking.
