On the background of conversion education for examination to education for quality, the reforms of curriculum teaching materials are developing continuously and we should adopt the measures to improve teaching efficiency within 40 minutes. It is necessary to improve the research of multimedia assisted chemistry knowledge teaching. This research carries out an investigation to chemistry teachers who teach in Mongolian in some key middle schools in Inner Mongolia, and analyzes the current situations and the problems that the most chemistry teachers have when they design and make multimedia coursewares. The results show many problems: the shortage of recognition to the importance of computer assisted instruction is existent; the level of making, design and using of multimedia coursewares is low; the ability that carrying on computer assisted instruction is weak.This paper makes a further research on the problems which present when the middle school teachers teaching in Mongolian design and make multimedia coursewares, and makes a systemically study on the theory of design and making of chemical multimedia courseware, trying to emphasize the importance of theory.
