Digital watermarking technology is a new research area in recent years, and has been researched by many experts and companies. Watermarking schemes embed information imperceptibly in digital objects and are proposed as primitives in various copyright protection applications, such as proofs of authorship, dispute resolving protocols or fingerprinting. In digital watermarking technology area, there are two important research contents. One is to continue to improve digital watermarking theory, to get the stronger and safer digital watermarking arithmetic. Another one is to improve the research in the application of digital watermarking technology. In this paper, we will research the digital watermarking arithmetic which is based on Discrete Wavelet Transform and the application of digital watermarking technology, the watermarking identify-center of digital image.In the area of digital watermarking arithmetic which is based on the frequency, the arithmetic based on Discrete Wavelet Transform is better than others. In this paper, it introduces the seeing-character of human eyes and the basic theory of discrete wavelet transform firstly. Then, we discuss the application of discrete wavelet transform in the area of digital image. And from this discuss, we can find that it is important for improving the performance of the digital watermarking arithmetic to select the strong coefficient of discrete wavelet transform. This arithmetic analyses the digital image by using discrete wavelet transform firstly, and gets the coefficients of discrete wavelet transform. And then, the coefficients are ordered by its importance. At last, the arithmetic selects strong coefficients and embeds the watermarking information. The watermarking information also is analyzed in this arithmetic, and this makes the arithmetic more applicable in application. The arithmetic in this paper has good performance.This paper also research and discuss the main frame and function modules of the watermarking identify-center of digital image.
