With user's higher demands of the quality of software products, the quality of software products is not an advantaged factor to a company becoming a market winner, but a necessary condition to the company competing against its rivals. Now the quality of software product and user satisfaction measurement are composed the new definition of software quality.Researching the theory of evaluating index of user satisfaction degree, this paper builds a model and proposals a method to determine objective weights of software products quality based on Rough sets. I provide a three steps solution here:1. At first, building a model of software products quality based on Rough sets, and defining the key factors and sub-factors affecting software products quality.2. Then, building evaluating class and defining a questionnaire of user satisfaction to software products.3. Third, we use rough set as a methodology to analyses the data of those questionnaires. The analysis includes data pretreatment, data reduction and weight of key factors calculation.So, subdividing information of monolayer into that of multilayer and combining objective weights and subjective weights given by experts, the model and method improves the accuracy of weights and remedies the inadequacy of existing methods.
