Generally, the pulse signal of human body is created with the pulsation of the heart. They certainly have the clinical meaning of the rate of the pulse frequency and the variety of the pulse rhythm. Along with the extensive test and the thorough research to the pulse waveform drawing, people have recognized it is sensitive physiology information. It is gradually imported to the index of the physiology detection for the clinic. For example, using for the health inspection for the airplane pilot and the old etc. So it has the important realistic meaning to research the pulse signal of human body. First of all, the accurate signal should be gathered.This paper is about the study and design of gathering device of the pulse signal of human body. According to the process of design, the device includes: the collection of the pulse signal, the transmission of the pulse signal, the digital signal processing of the pulse. To meet the needs of the device realization, the structure of the device is designed properly and carefully. Both the cost and the quality are also considered. Finally, the main hardware of the device is chose what is the MCU. The main work of the device: (1) Choose an integrated sensor to gather the feeble pulse signal. (2) Use an exact op Amps to magnify the output signal of the pulse sensor. (3) Make the MCU control to the integration A/D's registers for the analog signal to the digital signal of the voltage signal of the sensor. (4) Achieve the function of data transmission between the device and the personal computer with the UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter) and the chip of USB to UART. (5) The personal computer completes the digital filtering process for the receive data, reverts the pulse waveform drawing, and carries out the real-time display in the personal computer.At the beginning of the paper, the integral notion of the device design is brought out. Afterwards the detail technical information of each part is narrated in each chapter. At last partof the paper, some problems encountered in device debugging and methods on resolving these problems are brought out, and some suggestions for improving the device are also provided.
