Generally, the pulse signal of human body is created with the pulsation of the heart. and the rate of the pulse frequency and the variety of the pulse rhythm have certain clinical meanings. Pulse is a common physiology phenomenon, it can depict the heart and blood vessel state through its wave. Diagnosis by feeling the pulse of Chinese medicine through more than 2600 year practice, it has been accumulated abundant clinical experience, and it had developed into a kinds of the remarkable unique to diagnose skill, it is"Chinese medicine diagnosis by feeling the pulse" and it has been paid attention to in the world. For various reasons, the resolution standard of the diagnosis by Feeling of Chinese medicine still stays subjectively, so that the studying that the diagnosis by feeling the pulse of Chinese objectifying an important respect becoming modern traditional Chinese medicine . This thesis has studied on the pulse signal gathering, dealing with and analyzing system based on single chip microcomputer. The main content of research work in this paper can be summed up as follows:(1) Choose an integrated sensor based on PVDF piezoelectricity membrane to gather the feeble pulse signal. In order to implement the collection of the pulse signal, We design an analog modulation circuit of pulse signal. Plus the A/D switching, RS-232 serial communication between the MCU and the PC base on single chip microcomputer SPCE061A.(2)The PC is used as upper computer, We exploit a system of receiving and displaying of pulse signal. The system interface is friendly and the ability of data processing is strong, and meanwhile it is easy to operate which achieves the acquisition, real-time display and storage of pulse signals. We can also use upper computer to order lower computer. (for example: the options of sampling frequency) .(3) The empirical mode decomposition (EMD) introduced by Norden E Huang is a new multi-scale analysis method. It is suitable for non-linear and non-stationary signal processing. In this paper, Hilbert-Huang Transform(HHT) is applied to pulse signal analysis. The Hilbert marginal spectrum of pulse signal are established by HHT. To compare with FFT, the results show that the marginal spectrum has more precise physical meaning than Fourier spectrum. The energy of Intrinsic Mode Function(IMF) by EMD is studied and the concept of mode energy ratio is introduce forwarded. The physiological parameters K value is regarded as the standard for the evaluation which is proved that it is of good applicability and importance in integrated value. Based on pulse signals of clinical hypertension patients and the normal, K value, the predicrotic to main wave ratio and mode energy ratio are calculated. The results show that mode energy ratio is able to distinguish between the normal and patients with hypertension, and the energy ratio has good correlation with the degree of wiry pulse in hypertension patients. .
