The Design And Construction Of Learning Websites On Special Topics Based On A Certain Course

In the process of the formation of the new education system basedon the modern information technology, the educators are confrontingmany problems, such as, how to combine the digital technology,internet technology, multi-media technology with the discipline coursein order to adjust to the demands of the information age and thedevelopment of the education modernization;to construct thedigitalized teaching environment;to optimize the digitalized teachingresources;to establish the teaching pattern according with thedevelopment of the information age;to explore the learning methodssuitable for the learners' physical and mental development etc. Theyare the new tasks for the educators, and the optimal way to solve theseproblems is to construct the learning websites on special topics basedon a certain course. From the perspective of designing and constructing the learningwebsites on special topics, this paper has introduced the correspondingtheories and then technically studied, analyzed and designed thespecial learning website----"the boat of life" related to the course oflife science. This paper has put emphasis on the introduction of themain technologies and tools of the system development, including thekey technology projects of database linking, the design and issue ofdynamic webpage and interdesign. In addition, there is a detailedexpatiation on the practical technologies of the interface design, thewebsite structure design of the website named "the boat of life" etc.The corresponding test of the website has been done.The specialty of this paper is how to establish the learning websiteson special topics based on a certain course. With the illustration of thespecific example, this paper intends to urge the educators to set up theuseful learning websites on special topics in accordance with thedemands and features of the present education and teaching so that thelearners can improve their knowledge, skills, and attitudes in theinteraction with the information and environment.
