The Realization Of Different PHS's Roaming

The paper introduces the necessity and the impotent signification of the function test ofthe internet cruising service on Personal Handy-Phone System(PHS)developed by LiaoningNetCom, under the furious market competition. A Personal Handy-Phone System(PHS)isthe supplement and prolongation of the city telephone net. It uses a high quality of digittechnology to connect PHS with the city telephone net in a wireless way and makes thetraditional city telephone to be used at the handy phone in the scope covered by the net bymeans of an innovative conception. Compared with a mobile phone system, the PHS systemhas the advantages of a high utilization for the frequency source, being easy to optimizationof the net, a high quality of sound, a high speed on net and a lower radiation etc.Because the problems in the early engineering construction and the difference betweenthe equipments and the protocols of every manufacturers, they make the development worksmore difficult. The paper analysis the current development situation of PHS technology inChina and abroad and takes three cities as an example to introduce the net arrangementcondition of the ZTE, Lucent and UT equipment manufacturers in our province. Based onreference at the rule of the different area service net arrangement in Hunan province, throughthe research and analysis seriously, make a best scheme for developing the different areaservice net arrangement in our province to determine the implement details including the netstructure arrangement rule, the test items and the interface protocol etc. On this foundation,we have got a break up for internet cruising technology of lucent with ZTE, and UT. This isa new test which functional description, design idea, system structure and the performancemeasure & test all pass a strict inspection. The paper supplies a detail theory foundation andthe implement scheme for realizing a cruising service of the Personal Handy-Phone Systemon other city later.
