With the rapid development of Internet and the modern telecommunication technology, Digital information security has increasingly been cared. Digital image information hiding has been a key problem. Not alike the traditional encrypting, the way of using delusion of digital image for data hiding can stand many hostile attacks. In this area, although many works have existed, a perfect one is still hardly to find. Commercial software packages which greatly depends on man-machine interaction sometimes yields undesired results. This thesis presents some effective and robust algorithms for Digital Image Hiding on the base of the predecessors' work. The major works involved are as follows:1. An algorithm of digital image information hiding is presented. Based on chaos sequences, an image can be hided into another by using iterative blending. With the help of Logistic chaos dynamics, systematic process is non-period, non-convergence and sensitivity to the initial conditions, producing the real chaos sequence, being the blending factor of the hiding algorithm, and improving the security of the hiding algorithm. In order to improve the security of image hiding. Further, the hidden image should be deal with scrambling based on pixel space. The algorithm is easy to carry out through software and hardware, and has more conceal result and safety.2. Based on the idea of arithmetic of line scan, an algorithm of hiding multiple digital image information is presented. The numerical experimentations show that the hiding algorithm is efficient and safety. The algorithm has more blending parameters to act as the private keys, which can enhance the security and robustness of the hiding image more. Furthermore, the schemes can be combined with the scrambling technology, which is usually used as pre-process and post-process of digital image information hiding. Numerical experiments show that the schemes can be realized expediently and have some degree of robustness.3. An image encryption algorithm is presented based on image fusion technology. The algorithm can encrypt digital image quickly, the experimental results indicate the algorithm has good efficiency and good encryption results.4. An algorithm of digital image encryption is presented based on chaossequences. By means of Logistic chaos dynamics, the real chaos matrix is produced to?blend the pixels;the other is to permute pixels employing "standard map". Thenumerical experiments show that the hiding algorithm is efficient and safety.
