Design And Implementation Of 21CMA Cluster Monitoring System

Cluster is a system which is connected by a group of node computers via high performance network or local area network and provides high performance, high availability and high scalability. Monitoring is one of important tasks of cluster management. Cluster monitoring can be used to assign tasks , load balancing and inform hardware and software error to the administrator, widely control the using of the system.Monitoring information should be abtained without affecting the system performance. This paper is based on the 21CMA project and summarized research in the cluster monitor system for the 21CMA linux cluster environment.Firstly, this paper introduces the development and categories of the cluster, linux cluster;Then discuss the question that would be occur when designing and implementing the cluster monitor system;And simply introduces the technologies used to implement the 21CMA cluster monitoring system;after that , the paper describes the architecture of 21CMA cluster monitor system , According to the architecture,the monitoring information , such as the antennae data , the use of CPU , the use of memory, the stream of nodes' s network , can be presented, at last , according to the question when designing and developing 21CMA cluster monitor system, provides the evaluation frame of cluster monitor system that can be used to compare all kinds of cluster monitor system and guide us to develop and update the 21CMA cluster monitor system.
