Studies On The Co-existing Interference Between TD-SCDMA System And GSM System

TD-SCDMA is one of the 3G mobile communication technical standards which are recognized by the world, and is also the first communication standard owned by our country with an independent intellectual property. Now, various studies concerning TD-SCDMA are like a raging fire. In these studies, a very important content is the co-existing interference and joint plan between TD- SCDMA and other systems(for example GSM system). The study of this aspect is still a new realm. The co-existing interfering study between TD- SCDMA and GSM system in this paper is a branch of these studies in this aspect.Presently, the application of GSM system is very extensive all the world. Though the prevalence of 3G is an inevitable result, every mobile operator wants to protect their investment in GSM system. It is impossible to eliminate the GSM system in short term, so the GSM network will coexist with 3G network for a very long time. Then our study in the co-existing interference problem between two various systems not only can provide some directive suggestions for reducing of interference, but also can lay a foundation for the intending joint plan between TD- SCDMA system and GSM system.This paper established the models for TD-SCDMA system and GSM system in typical environment, and simulated the coexistence interference between GSM system and TD- SCDMA system used the Monte Carlo method. Then we gave some curves which are the results of simulation, and analyzed these results. Finally, on the base of the above analysis, we put forward some suggestion about the co-located build for TD-SCDMA system and GSM system.In addition, this paper put forward a new method for the establishment of smart antenna model in the section of system model. And this paper analyzed the affection of smart antenna when we calculated the interference, then put forward a new fast calculation method for uplink and downlink interference in the smart antenna system.
