In this thesis, some typical field buses are presented and the development of Industrial Ethernet, especially the Giga-Ethemet is concerned on.Their advantages and disadvantages are pointed out by some necessary comparisons and some amelioration to its existing problems and limits are showed.The PLC's principles, structures and its adaptive programming software are also presented. Some comparisions among the three different PLCs and their adaptive software which are the most popular in Europe (Unity Pro (by Schneider Electric), STEP7 (by Siemens) , CoDeSYS (By WAGO) are then made. Unity Pro, as the Schneider's new-generation software for developing the automation platform, attracts more and more attention by its flexible features and the perfect performance on the Supervision Simulation in the domain of Industrial Control. Meanwhile, the new PLCs S-400 of Siemens are wildly used in the large/medium-scale projects.The enhanced new version of STEP 7 is in favor by consumers and creates a further market by its rigorous programming.Besides, the WAGO PLC is wildly used in the medium/Small scale projects as its excellent flexibility and low price.With the rapid development of the technologies of Computer Network and VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration), the Avionic Bus develops towards 4 trends: the high-speed transmission, low BER (Bit Error Rate), low delay and low consummation. The new avionic bus ARINC 664 which has been applied on A380 has a great progress compared to its last generation, but the problem of the compromise between the high speed and the signal to noise ratio hasn't been completely solved yet.In this paper, PLC's principles and its applications are presented by describing an Industrial Supervision project, of which I took charge in the company of Cegelec in France. In the core part of this project, three parts are emphasized on: the configurations of PLCs, the design of the Supervision for the Central Control, the design of the PLC programs and its optimal amelioration. I earned lots of the valuable technical experiences through this industrial project and leamt some efficient ways to manage a practical project.
