After reviews the development of power quality monitoring in the world and summarizes theperformance evaluation of power quality, this thesis points out some problems of the area andintroduces some methods to deal with them at same time, Then presents a software samplingfrequency self-adaptive algorithm which can obtain the actual signal frequency moreaccurately, and adjust sampling interval based on the frequency calculated by softwarealgorithm, it can reduce synchronous error and spectral leakage, thereby can improve theaccuracy of the measurement.A power quality monitoring equipment base on dual-DSP is also introduced in this thesis,which can measure and monitor the signal continuously, and avoid the conflicts among dataprocessing, non-interrupt sampling and event record by balance the tasks between them, itintroduces a hardware as well which has several parts, such as data sampling, A/D convention,analog signal processing, LCD display, mass storage and communication interface. Thendevelops a software, which is based on DSP/BIOS in CCS, it can process the real-time signaland data analysis.Finally this paper processes a simulation on the algorithm and analyses the errors caused byeach part of the system.
