Application On XML Of Web-Based Invention Tools System

Nowadays, the Internet has achieved great development not only in individuals, companies, but also in enterprises. Network increasingly has become a necessary tool. We can find the network everywhere. As a tool of data exchange and information integration online, XML has become a new language online, with the advantages of self-description, independence of platform, etc,. It is the new generation markup language, defines a standard used to describe data and exchange data. W3C XML Schema is kind of schema language used to defined and describe the XML document structure. Data between the applications is exchanged in the form of XML documents. So computing environment is now developing towards XML-based data store and format transformation.With XML technology, the computer aided inventive problem solving system is set up. The system architecture and realizing methods are described. Also, there are three ways for different level users to query the inventive knowledge with this system. Based on deeply analyzing on TRIZ theory and XML technology, the system architecture of the XML-based inventive problem solving system has been designed. This system as the Inventive Knowledge Web site supports a highly interactive communication super highway. The inventive knowledge on this site would be shared by users from different locals or platforms. Also, on this site, there are three ways for users to acquire the inventive knowledge or generate inventive ideas.With the future network-edition architecture of the Invention Tool, this paper analyzes requirement, clarify how to combine XML technology and Web service, display XML document on web page easily, and exchange data through network. This paper brings forward a three step pattern. They are building XML documents using XML Schema, Transfering Web service and transforming XML document to HTML through XSL. Shortage of the system and the orientation for improving has also been pointed out in this paper.
