Plantwide Control And Its Applications

Plantwide control deals primarily with the structural issue of the control system,and determines what to measure and control, which inputs to use, and how to pair thesesets of variables by quantifying methods, in order to look for using the simplest methodto satisfy the system control requirement. This paper firstly makes use of the systemanalysis methods in the plantwide control for a nonlinear benchmark gasifier modelbefore designing, based on the research for the design idea, theory basis, achievingmethod of the plantwide control;then a system analysis, design and simulation are donefor a gas-turbine combined cycle power plant system according to the design steps;finally this paper prospects the application of the plantwide control in the electric powersystem combined with its facts.
