At the same time, the traffic, communication, network technology are developing at full speed ,so humanity's scope of activities is more widely. The difficulties and importance of the personal identification are more and more outstanding, the personal identification has the extensive application prospect and the important strategic meaning to our country with such a large population. They all need reliable system in finance, security, network, e-commerce ,etc.The traditional personal identification methods using password is not satisfied with the demands of the modern digital society because of the shortcoming of easily forgetting and pretending and so on. The technology of personal identification based on the biological characteristics uses the human itself biological characteristics to identify themselves. These biological characteristics have the advantages of steady-going, convenient-taking, difficult-forging etc. Therefore the technology of personal identification has already become the focus in recent years. The methods of characteristics identification. Includes fingerprint, palm line, iris, face, voice, signing and handwriting, etc.This paper proposes the design of Iris recognition classifier based on neural network. It has done the detailed explanation to background , purpose , meaning , current situation and prospect of Iris identification. Comparing with the various localization algorithms and feature-getting algorithms, proposed the quite reasonable algorithm.in digital pattern process of the Ms, It process the images of the Iris. In the design of Iris recognition classifier, the former Iris recognition classifier uses the Hamming-distances, but this paper proposes the design of Iris recognition classifier based on neural network. It is succeeded in making Iris image have invariance in translation, size and rotation.In addition, this text adopts and uses images processing toolbox and neural network toolbox of MATLAB, so this text makes an introduction to images processing toolbox and neural network toolbox of MATLAB in the varying degree.
