With development of the computer hardware, the computer animation turn to be mature day by day. The computer animation take the computer graphics as the foundation, especially based on the body modelling and the realistic display technology, involving to the principle and technology of the picture processing and movement control.This article mainly take some important computer graphics knowledge as rationale,such as the coordinate transformation, the three dimensional projection transformation, texture mappings and so on . Using OpenGL ,the formidable function opening graphic software package ,and developing the platform with the aid of VC, thus you can simulate the airplane flight entire process , the terrain and the sky scene simultaneously. The article detailedly introduced the animation realization principle and the process, as well as the final realized animation effect process. The animation construction uses the double buffer technology and the Win32 foundation multi-thread technology. When plan animation and terrain ,it utilized many kinds of frame buffer ,such as color buffer, depth buffer, template buffer and accumulation buffer, when plan sky ,it utilized the texture mapping technology, thus arrived the more vivid animation effect.
