With the rapid development of information technology and computer, especiallythe quick development of network technology, people's aspiration of communicatingwith outside is becoming more and more strong under the different environment. Thescheme of wireless network accessing based on the TDMA satellite correspondenceprovides a kind of independent network equipment connecting with network outside.Thisprojectcanprovidedatatransmitting,speechtransmitting,etc,hasthefunctionofnetworkroute,canproviderequirementofaccessingnetworkforpersonalandunitary.The hardware platform for the module of network accessing based on the TDMAsatellite correspondence is the motherboard RW-PPC8250, which supports variouscoding and decoding scheme, can expand to an embedded system software radioplatform for the support of encryption and wireless accessing. The RW-PPC8250 usesthe high performance embedded MPC8250 processors, taking embedded Linux asoperatingsystem.This paper will study the developing process of the embedded Linux on thishardware platform from the applied angle. Firstly, this paper introduces the embeddedsystem and the hardware structure of RW-PPC8250 motherboard. In succession, it goesdeep into studying the design and debugging of the booting program PPCBoot, thereducing of the embedded Linux operating system, and the modification andtransplantation of Linux kernel source code, besides lucubrates the design of theramdisk file system based on Linux operating system. Finally, this paper presents thedeveloping and design mode of devices driver under the circumstance of Linuxoperatingsystem.
