Research On Layered Space-Time Technique Of MIMO System

MIMO system (multiple antennas at the transmitter and receiver) is capable of very high theoretical capacities. In this paper, we discuss the detection algorithm of V-BLAST system; we propose a new algorithm based on multi-interference cancellation. The new algorithm is simple structure and less time delay. This paper also proposes an algorithm derive from the combination of the new multi-interference cancellation algorithm and conventional detection to improve the BER performance. Then, based on the thorough analysis of coding and decoding theory of Turbo code, we propose a system of joint BLAST detection algorithm and Turbo code. The system realizing the technique of joint iterative detection and decoding. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed Turbo-BLAST system offers significant performance gain over conventional non-iterative receiver structure.
