Because of its high utilization rate of channel bandwidth, Spatial Multiplexing Technique has became one of the most effective scheme for the next generation of mobile communication with high transmitting speed. By the extensive research on encoding and decoding algorithms of Turbo-BLAST scheme, this paper demonstrates some new personal ideas on the area of channel interleaver design, stopping criterion and the improvement algorithm for Turbo-BLAST scheme's decoding.By the analysis of Turbo-BLAST coding scheme, this paper shows a new method to determine the channel interleaver for the serial transmitting structure. This method makes the full consideration of the whole coding scheme, and acquires computer to search for the optimum result. The simulation results show the new interleaver could maintain better performance and low realization complexity.Next, the paper focuses on the decoding algorithms of Turbo-BLAST scheme. By the analysis of the extrinsic information exchange characteristics, it can be found that the variance of detected information from each antenna could tell the Signal-Noise-Ratio differences among transmit antennas. Base on this observation, this paper figures out a new stopping criterion using the information from detection part in order to decrease the computation complexity of the stopping criterion. The simulations prove the new criterion is simple and effective, without significantly degrading the performance.
