Research On Implementation Of Information Standard In University

With the rapid development of information technology,people step into information society gradually,so education information meet severe challenge.Since digitization campus raised by Professor Kenneth Green of Clermont University in America in 1990 and with the development of information technology and as education information understood in depth,the conception of digitization campus is increasingly clear and digitization campus becomes an important part of information developing of every campus.But at present college information exists many weaknesses and deficiencies,which mainly include every department having its own information system,different development platforms,languages and databases,lacking uniform interface and data standard and being short of effectively sharing of information.Therefore "isolated islands of information" and a great deal of heterogeneous data come into being.Because of the differences of database and logic in every system,there produce a great deal of heterogeneous data. These problems prevent college information from developing.First,the thesis discusses relative knowledge of information standard,including information,standardization, principles of information standard establishment,contents related to information standard in university,etc.Second, the thesis detailedly dissertates XML technology,introduces basal syntax of XML technology,discusses two methods of XML's structure description and two common programming interfaces of parsing XML and dissertates XML application on data exchange.Then,taking Dalian Maritime University for example,it sets forth principles of basal information coding,dicusses problems during information coding,puts forward establishment project of custom standard that adapts to information construction of Dalian Martime Unversity and introduces 0-1 Matix method that is used in selecting metadata of basal database.Finally,the paper emphasizes exchange research of isomerous data,brings forword a data exchange model of heterogeneous database basing on XML. It takes relation database for example and expatiates two important questions: mapping from relation database to XML and mapping from XML to relation database.It summarizessix mapping modes in mapping arithmetic from relation database to XML and designs detailedly how to achieve two modules according to the mapping arithmetic.
