| Since 1970s, protective relaying based on traveling wave is attracted by manyscholars because it has properties such as high-speed-operation and is independent ofgrounded-resistance, CT saturation and system swing. In order to testing relay basedon traveling wave, a new relay testing platform providing transient waves is neededbecause traditional relay testing platforms are not suitable for the purpose.In this paper, aims of the relay-testing platform are given based on analysis ofother relay testing platforms. Then the total scheme is brought forward. Every part ofthe platform is analyzed in details. At the same time we analysis the model of whichthe relay-testing platform would be improved. And introduce the performance of relaytesting platform.Finally the paper put forward the method to testing the relay equipments andthrough the testing with the relay testing platform we prove the testing system isapplied. |
