An Ethernet Video Capturing System Based On Embedded Linux

With the fast improvements in microelectronics,telecommunications,andcomputerscience, new surveillance techniques and products are presented quicklyand continuously. Digital, network-based, minimized, and intelligentsurveillance systems are the main trends in the near future. In order to decreasethe cost and simplify the operation, we embedded the device with small cheapand low cost into the existing monitoring system of video by using Internettechnology. In this paper,the thesis is concertrated on the design procedure of which theentire gathering system is achieved,after analyzing the functions of entirely system,we regard the monitoring system of video as a model and divide it in to severalsubmodules with diferent function by using the method of modularization. Wedescribe the function of each sub module, its relation and the cooperationprocedure between them in details.What more,we also integrate the flow chartinto each module to describe the method of realization.At last, we test andevaluate the functions and the performances of gathering system.
