With the population and rapid development of network in our China, the flourishing video-monitoring system which based on network has become a new typical multimedia application. It means that the schools, enterprises or departments utilize the present computer network frame to transfer, store and share the monitored scope's needed video, audio and data information in digital form, which can let the leaders and the relation departments get the monitored scope's real-time, exact, material and visual information, for the purpose of monitoring teaching, security production, improving production efficiency, monitoring important transactions, and offering the tech guarantee for retrieving and analyzing afterwards. According to the classic analog monitor system, the digital remote video-monitor system has strong benefits. It's the perfect combination of image manipulation and information technology. The digital system mainly includes the video compress coding tech, video manipulation tech, stream media transmission, exchanging tech and the monitoring model. The digital video monitoring system based on network is a very large and complex system. It involves the hardware, software and some other complex techs. To design a scientific monitoring blue print is the key step for actualizing the system, and it's also the for-resolving difficulty in this task. The main role of this task is to analyze and study the key technologies for the above computer remote digital monitoring system, and discuss the project's design, plan the wholly monitoring model, and actualize the system model, function model, information model and the key technologies.
