| Constructing Grid GIS is the only way that develops GIS. And finally, Grid GIS will melt into architecture of SIG. Grid GIS adopts OGSA's frame of the Grid technology, and offers a new realization mode for spatial information services. Research work of this dissertation is based on Grid technology, and be applied to offer spatial information service on Grid. The main work of the dissertation concentrates in the following parts: 1)Research on the foundation of Grid, such as the development environment of Grid service and the current study situation both at home and abroad, etc. The research of Grid achieves application level at occident. There were plenty of productions in many large-scale schemas of Grid on abroad. Chinese developed Grid at 2000. SIG began to be study a short time ago. 2)Discussed the concept and architecture of SIG, Grid GIS and Spatial Data Grid, and relationships of them. Spatial Data Grid is the support Grid of Grid GIS; Grid GIS is the member Grid of SIG. Architecture is the kernel for each Grid. 3)Spatial Data Grid derived from Data Grid. In the dissertation, the key technology of Spatial Data Grid, including metadata catalog, data broker and Grid Spatial Database are studied. 4)Study deeply the important Grid applications development flat: Globus Toolkit. GT is base on OGSA, implements OGSI, and absorbs the technology of Web Service. 5)Design and construct a simple laboratorial Grid GIS based on GT3, accomplish a service of querying spatial data. The data service submits the GML data successfully. ArcIMS processes the data, and there is a visual result for user finally. The experimentation system is composed of registry, certificate administrator, Grid GIS data server and client. There are many functions to be improved in the system. It is aim to provide reference to better quality of spatial data service in Internet by constructing simple system of Grid GIS. There is preparation for fabricating more valuable Grid GIS and realizing more powerful Service of SIG. |
