International communication refers to such kind of information intercourse that happens among two or more countries or international associations. The discourse hegemony in international communication is a definition that the western developed countries controlled the superintendence of discourse, and dominates other developing countries in international communication. Which depends on powerful economic strength and advanced science and technology.The various representation of discourse hegemony exists in the process of international communication, the main ways of discourse hegemony contains: control the information resource. Have the freedom of choose contents to report and explain them. Make use of advantages of language: English is the international general-purpose language of the world.Discourse hegemony of developed countries in the international communication cause to complex international problems, which involves in the statements below: discourse of developing countries and the third world countries are long-term depressed by western developed countries. Information flows from "west" to "east" which result in the unbalanced old world information order. Public trust to western countries' mass media has been weakened. Moreover, terrorism is a monstrous way that minor wild men try for their discourse on the media. All these issues lead vital consideration of people of whole world. The old communication order is not adjust to the tendency of globalization. All the developing countries claim for the establishment of "new world information order", and will keep trying for it.
