This thesis is based on a through text analysis of investigative report about Chinese stock market. In 1980s, Chinese stock market start to develop. Now it not only becomes to one of important parts of national capital market, but also effects on the domestic economy. At present, there are two stock exchanges in Shenzhen and Shanghai, including mainboard, small and medium company board, 1,300 A share, its total market value is 8000 billion yuan . The flourishing stock market stimulates the demand on stock information. And in our country, the paper of stock market is becoming one of important parts of the paper about financial and economics. All of financial and economic report contain stock market, China Securities Journal, Securities Times, Shanghai Securities NewsAfter 2001, the shortcoming of stock market system is turning on, going with China economy system reform.And the highly speculation of the capital market stimulate the investors' appetency.The scandals of companies on mainbord,invest institutions,and the securities regulation commission had often been heard.In this environment,the public voices of the mass media begin to show their power of supervision.The investigative reporting is the very important part of the public voices.Compare with the ordinary reports,because of the particularity of the stock market, the content of investigative reporting is more professional, the progress is more difficult ,the effect is more obvious.The investigative reporting make a new way of the report about the stock market,and break through the traditional model of the finance and economics report.The supervision effect of the investigative reporting has supply better experiences about how the mass media make use of the "fourth power" to supervise.
