The Implementation Of Spatial OLAP System And Its Application In Business Administration

At present, as the combination of data warehouse and GIS, spatial data warehouse technology has already been used in mapping, traffic, city planning, aviation, etc. It is one of the key techniques in numeric earth and numeric city, and it can provide an effective way to support the decision making.Spatial OLAP is the front-end part of spatial data warehouse. It is the main application of data warehouse systems, and it can present intuitionistic and pellucid result through complicated spatial analysis operation. It can analyze and handle the data stored in database, present multi-views to people who want to analysis them, and by this way, the important information behind large amount of data can be obtained.This paper presents a spatial OLAP platform SeiSOLAP based on spatial data warehouse techniques, and successfully put to use in business administrative system for decision-making support of Dalian City.Firstly, the problems encountered in spatial ETL from different kinds of source systems are summarized in this paper, and an effective way to solve it is also presented. Secondly, in order to match the extracted data with the geo-coding library, the paper uses regular expression to complete the standardization of the data. In the end, the implementation of spatial OLAP platform is described, and it can exhibit the spatial analysis result and submit requests from the map. Some functions such as drilling up, drilling down, drill through, interact with the map are also presented in this paper. Meanwhile, the business administrative spatial data warehouse is constructed, and the SeiSOLAP platform is used in its subject analysis.
