The Research And Design Of The Distribution Center's Storage Management Software System

Nowadays, the social economy has been developing highly, thousands of products are produced out in every minute and then are sent to every field in the society. Therefore, the functions of logistics and specially storage are attracting more and more interests. This work focuses on the distribution center storage. The degree of storage management informatization is low. The storage management restricts the management level. The service of storage management is single. Aiming at the status, the storage management information system is investigated and designed to improve the management efficiency and save the cost.The management idea of organic integration of logistics and information flow is incarnated fully in this work. The storage management information system is investigated completely and designed systematically. On the one hand, it is taken into account that the storage management information system impacts on the whole distribution center system. On the other hand, the storage management information system is separated with the other systems of the distribution center to pursue effective research.According to the general procedure of software engineering and the basic principle of engineering,, the storage management information system is analyzed elaborately in requirement. The system objective analysis, user analysis, function analysis, data analysis, framework analysis and security analysis are included. To improve the work efficiency of storage operation and management, reduce the time of finding the position information, improve the precision of inquiring and checking, quicken the transmitting velocity of the bills involved go into or out of the storage, the operation flow of storage management is optimized, rationalized and scientized. Exceeding current operation, the management idea and rule of operation are abstracted out. In the view of controlling logic, the work flow of the storage management information system is designed in detail. The basic functions and accessorial functions of the storage management information system are programmed. The achievement of main functions is investigated deep in theory. Corresponding E-R model, concept data model, logic data model, physics model, data flow chart and data dictionary are established by investigating system data to accomplish the designof the storage management information system database. At last, using SQL Server 2000 as the background database, a storage management information system designed for distribution center storage that supports the C/S structure is fulfilled by using delphi7.0.The storage management software system based on different type of storage,but change a little of the research and disgn the diatribution center's storage,can use it in any other storages . So,the discussion, design and accomplishment of the distribution center storage management information system in this work have a better reference value for the storage management of distribution center, storage enterprise and logistics enterprise.
