The Research And Implementation Of IPSec VPN And SSL VPN Based On IPv6

Simply,VPN is a enterprise network established via Internet,and the network has the same security , management and function as the private network,it replaces the traditional Dial-up access.facilitates the Internet resource as the extention of private network and saves expensive long-distance expense.VPN is the replacive scheme of private network or private WAN network,VPN doesn't change the features of primary WAN,such as supporting mult-protocoL high dependability and high expansibility,but to achieve these features on the basis of more fitting cost.According to the present structure of the Internet ,IPv4 is the main body of the Internet,while IPv6 is still composed of several "island",though some countries or regions provide the service of IPv6,it is also very restricted.Though IPv6 is still developing and grewing up now,the application based on IPv6 is limited,it represents the trend and future of the future Internet's development.During the maturation and perfection of IPv6 technology,to research one or more applications based IPv6 make a very important and realistic sense.This dissertation is to compare, analyse and research IPSec VPN and SSL VPN under the environment of IPv6 and Linux.This dissertation is aimed at IPv6,compared and analysed IPSec VPN and SSL VPN under IPv6 environment,utilized open source software project to implement IPSec VPN and SSL VPN respectively,and tested their performance at LAN environment so as to guarantee network security effectively by using above two kinds of VPN when IPv6 is employed on a lage scale . The creative works of this dissertation lists as follows:Summarize and analyse whether IPSec VPN and SSL VPN are supported extensived under Linux operating system .Analyse and compare the difference and intercommunity between IPSec VPN and SSL VPN at aspect of Encryption, authentication data encapsulation and working layer .Utilize open source software project Opens wan and OpenVPN to implement IPSec VPN and SSL VPN respectively under the environment of Linux and IPv6.Realize the web interface of managing multiple IPSec VPN tunniesExperiment the compatibility of IPSec VPN and SSL VPN under Linux and IPv6.Give the available analyzing result of employing IPSec VPN and SSL VPN on a large scale utilizing open source software project OpenSwan and OpenVPN under Linux and IPv6.
