Research Of PCI Interface Technology To Cold Storage Temperature Control System Based On CAN Bus

With the extensive application of automatic control technology, the cold storage temperature control technology develops quickly. In order to achieve the best cold storage effect, the cold storage system should make the temperature of the foodstuff to be optimally adjustable to their characteristics. The traditional cold storage temperature control technology can not get the temperature accurately and can't meet the requirements of energy saving and intelligent control. More and more Fieldbus technologies are used in automation system. In this thesis CAN bus which is widely used now is applied in the cold storage temperature control system.In cold storage temperature control system, the communication between the upper computer and the control nodes needs special interface card. The interface cards on the market are universal, but on some special occasions, they have poor real-time performance and limited intelligence. Based on the analysis and study on different interface modes of the upper computer, a kind of intelligence interface technology method has been put forward. A PCI interface card with intelligent driver is designed. The driver has data analysis function, so the upper application software can directly exchange the information through the data object interface of the driver without understanding the protocol of the CAN bus.The main work of this thesis is to design an intelligent PCI interface card including hardware and driver design. Based on the research to different PCI interface options, the PCI9052 is chosen as the system interface chip, CAN bus interface is connected and relevant hardware configuration and debugging are done in this thesis. The development and debugging of the driver are done with DriverStudio software combined with DDK and VC. The driver is based on Windows 2000 WDM mode and has five function modules, such as initialization module, configuration space access module, data receiving module, data sending module and data analyzing module. The cold storage temperature control system based on CAN bus can get the accurate temperature of the storeroom, guarantee the quality of the foodstuff, avoid high frequent startup of the compressor, extend the life cycles of machines and save the energy.The intelligent PCI interface can meet the demand of application and development of the cold storage temperature control system based on CAN bus and it can be used as reference for the further research and application of the intelligence data interface technology.
