Inverter Modularization is a trend in the future. The communicationamong modules enables the paralleled inverter modular to work together indistributed electric power systems. The research, which is one of subtasks ofthe National Natural Science Fund Researching Project "Control and Topologyof a New High-frequency and minitype Power" (Project No. 50237020), isabout the communication techniques of inverters based on the Ad hoc network. It is one of feasible plans to use wireless network for the communicationamong inverter modules. The paper focuses on the research about the routing ofwireless Ad hoc network that is used for the communication among invertermodules.Depending on the peculiarities of the communication among invertermodules and analyzing the structure of the Ad hoc network and the commonrouting protocols, a hierarchical routing protocol of Ad hoc network is provedavailable. As the paper discusses, at first, CBRP, which is already used in Adhoc network, is improved and then a new MCBRP Routing protocol is putforward. With the help of simulating software, the performance of the protocolis analyzed. In view of the resolution of hierarchical routing protocol, aminimum dominating set algorithm is raised, deduced by mathematics andverified by theories. The research proves that by adopting maximal degree clustering algorithminstead of the least ID clustering algorithm of CBRP, the limited bandwidth ofcould be made full use of to increase the performance of network including thenetwork throughput. In the minimum dominating set algorithm, a kind ofself-checking-first routing table is adopted. If there is already the route to thedestination node, data are directly exchanged, preventing bandwidth beingoccupied by the periodic hello-broadcast which is occurred in generalprotocols. If there is not a route to the destination node in the table, then searchand set up a new route.
