An improved opinion on the mobile reception and transmission performance for the existing DVB —T transmission standard is presented in this paper. I designed the DVB—T system project based on the secondary chip and new reception mode,then made it come true. This paper firstly introduces the correlated theory of DVB — T,then presents an improved opinion on the mobile reception and transmission performance of DVB —T system in theory. I also used the Systemview to simulate the system, then actually improved it in both software and hardware. Finally I tested the DVB—T receiver of this project and analysed the test results.I have mostly done the things as follows in the whole design process:1.I read many materials to understand the system structure and characters of DVB—T standard, and I presented the key conditions of improving the mobile reception and transmission of DVB —T system.2.I used Systemview software to simulate DVB—T system, then analysed and simulated the transmission of DVB—T system in all kinds of complex channel conditions and mobile reception conditions. I lucubrated the advantages and disadvantages of DVB —T system, and presented the influencing factors for mobile reception.3.On the base of expertly comprehending the structure of digital STB,I presented five measures of improving performance in theory,and designed the improvements for the inside and outside part of DVB—T receiver.4.I improved the mobile reception of system in the hardware. I used the secondary chip to design the hardware structure of the whole project and designed the important modules according to the function. Especially I used the tuner and designed its circuit, and used diplex AGC control annular circuit in the front-end of receiver, and emphasised on design of double diversity tuner technology.5.I improved the mobile reception of system in the software. I wrote thereal-time data flow of the system.I also partitioned the hiberarchy and the function flow chart of the software according to the improved terminal structure. I designed the driver of the front-end part,and especially designed the driver of the double tuners and double demodulation chips.The programme was written with ensuring the steady operation of forward and the efficient operation of tuner.6.1 tested the DVB—T receiver system of this project. Firstly I chose different kinds of transmissions of the system,and chose the best transmission that was suitable for mobile reception.Then I compared the project with common project for testing their max mobile speed and bit rate. Finally the test data could validate the credibility of improvement and function in mobile reception and transmission performance of the DVB—T system receiver.
