Visible light communication is a novel, high-data-rate and short-range wireless optical communication technology.Currently, we tend to choose white LED as communication light source in the communication system, so visible light communication system combines the double function of lighting and communication. But indoor visible light communication system performance is still affected by background light noise,multipath interference and other factors.In this paper, the characteristics of white LED light source, indoor communication channel, the communication process in the presence of noise and the optical receiver are first analyzed and then the design of principles is given for indoor wireless communication system which based on white LED light source, focusing on analysis of the working principle for the front-end of the receiver, including the optical receiving antenna, diversity reception and signal combining techniques of the receiver for communication system performance, proposed four-fold diversity selection combination mode, and the design of the corresponding processing unit, thereby improving the communication system signal to noise ratio, reducing the interference factors on system performance.The feasibility and effectiveness of this program in this paper are verified through theoretical analysis and computer simulation.
