The digital watermarking technique is a powerful tool to protect copyrights of digitalmedia author or seller. However, great part of current research in this domain focus onalgorithms of embedding and detecting. For a practical use, algorithms about digitalwatermark have to be integrated with watermarking protocols. This paper deals withtheories and techniques of modern cryptography, and proposes a scheme for e-tradingbased on digital time-stamp and digital watermark. The scheme is an attempt of solution toproblems related to customer's right protection and copy trading field. In this scheme, certificate authority (CA) centre enables buyers and sellers to trust eachother, and blocks any potential man-in-the-middle attack. Simultaneously, with CA'ssignature, useful information can't be juggled. Each stage of trading information encryptingexcludes the possibilities of stealing watermarks, and only the owner know what is hiswatermark;Furthermore, we use the hash function to reflect the small variety of originaldata, prevent the situation that the seller embeds the same buyer's watermark into adifferent product;Through the analysis of theories we can see that this scheme can assurethe trade equity, information safety and private watermark etc.According to the design and security analysis of the scheme, the paper proposes a basicimplementation frame of the multimedia transaction system, and carry out this process withthe software .
