The Embedded Control System Software Design Based On Linux

Embedded system is new technological developing direction after the network technology. Because of its outstanding characteristics of small size, high performance, low cost, high reliability and well practicality, it has been applied in many fields such as military, electronics, communication, industrial control etc.As an open operating system, Linux can well adapt with the new technology and protocol, further more, Linux have Powerful network functions. Linux operation system-becomes more and more important in embedded system because of its open-resource, free and flexibility.In an embedded system application, the most prominent feature is a focus on the time. Therefore, the use of the system,can save time.So the goal of this thesis is to design and realize an Embedded industrial control software, which is based on the Linux and can be configured, for the industrial process control. The system may respond to specific industrial projects by configuration to meet different user's need.In this paper, the author first discusses the definition, characteristic, classification and development of embedded system, and introduces the typical embedded operating system. Then the demand for an embedded industrial control system is researched and the software and hardware platform are choosed. Thirdly, with the programming technology of Linux, the software functions, data structure, storage methods and function modules are designed. Furthermore. ModbusTcp arc realized on the net. Finally an embedded industrial control system software is realized in which several programming technology of linux are applied .The system studied in this paper has extensive application fields, and the cost of a whole set of system is very low. So the researching and developing of this kinds of system has a high practical value.
